- Oprah Winfrey is due in philly for a 2 week defamation trial!! Remember a few years back when that sex-abuse scandal broke at her girls school in South Africa? Well, the ex-headmistress of the school wasn’t happy about the stuff Oprah said about her, and that made way for a March 29 trial in Philadelphia. The link to Philly is because the ex-headmistress… was recruited here (she once served as an administrator at Germantown Friends School and claims that Oprah’s words make it impossible for her to find work for nearly a year.
