What’s going on with the show and with the station?

Okay, I’m not doing this to create un-necessary drama. I honestly have NO CLUE what’s going on!! The other day, I was on Twitter and I follow Chio (@chiowired965) and he started twittering all this stuff below. I asked him about it and he just smirked. I didn’t think anything of it….. THEN (keep reading)…..

….this morning, I’m reading the Daily News and Dan Gross is talking about Diego (from Q102) possibly joining the show. What the hell is going on? And why am I being kept out of the loop? Am I getting fired? Replaced by Diego? OR ….maybe Diego is going to join the show and I’m gonna have to deal with ANOTHER guy in the morning (no offense to Diego but Chio and Joey B is enough for one morning). So I asked Chio about what’s up with this article and he blew me off like it was nothing. Nothing??? If another person is joining the show, that’s a pretty big deal, don’t you think? What’s going on? Can someone fill me in? (puzzled, confused, and frustrated)!!!

My interview with Tila is CUCKOO!!

A VERY long time ago, I used to have respect for this chick. She made fame off of having the most Myspace friends and it seemed like she was doing her thing! She was working on her music, trying to start a clothing line, doing photo shoots for magazines, and she had a cute personality. I don’t know what happened to that girl. She’s doing all kinds of whack things to get attention now (see below) and when you listen to my interview with her, she’s all over the place. She talks about her new website and how she’s going to have breaking news on it. Then, says Rihanna started the beef between them and talks about how she can help Lindsay Lohan. She says she’s going to tie her to a bed post and say, “You’re not going out!” Wow, wonder why Lindsay’s parents didn’t think of this idea!

Thanks Joey B for booking this interview. Chio didn’t want to do it and I got stuck with doing it. I think I was pretty nice to her. We’re not a mean show and I always try to be respectful of people’s time but this is NOT an interview I was looking forward to. UGGGGH!!!

- Here’s a preview of Betty White on SNL. She’s scheduled to appear May 8th. Rumor is, Jay Z will be on too!

- The official extended trailer of Twilight Eclipse premiered on Oprah Friday. Check it out! Plus, she announced that the entire Twilight cast will be on May 13th

- Michael Lohan is on our show today to talk about what’s going on with his daughter, Lindsay. Is he doing this for publicity or really concerned for her safety?

- Britney’s before and after picture from her Candie’s ads have been released. What do you think? People are making a big deal about it and I think her before pictures actually look great too.

- I’m glad I read this news headline today…and then again, I wish I hadn’t! Phillynews.com: Krispy Kreme returning to Philadelphia Region! They are the best when warm… mmm, mmm!

- Kate Gosselin is safe, AGAIN! Instead, Aiden Turner got booted from Dancing with the Stars last night!

- Good news: Pitbull has announced dates for his Mr. Worldwide Carnival tour. Bad news: He’s not coming to Philly. The closest he’ll be….is in Jackson NJ, at Six Flags June 22

- Fergie has a new perfume coming out with Avon called Outspoken. The perfume will be out in September and will sell for 28-dollars a bottle.

- Ray J and Brandy: A Family Business is a new show premiering on VH1, Sunday night at 9pm. I got a chance to talk with Ray J and his mom, Sonja. Listen here!

- We have a dilemma on the show. Chio bet Joey B $100 that there would be a heckler at the Masters. Do you think this sign in the air counts? Chio is saying yes and of course Joey B disagrees saying Chio is getting technical now.

- Kate Gosselin is coming back to TLC. One show is called Twist of Kate where she responds to fan letters and travel the country to meet her fans’ families and “try out” their jobs. The other show will essentially be: Kate Plus 8 with the focus on her being a single mom. As for Jon Gosselin, should he do celebrity boxing? And fight Chio? I would love that!

- I have a premiere date for the second season of The Jersey Shore. Mark your calendars! It’s Thursday, July 29th at 10pm. MTV has also confirmed a new twist. The cast will leave Miami and finish the season back at the Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights.

- Jesse James has been labeled, “The Most Hated Man in America” by Entertainment Weekly. Enough said!

- Saturday on SNL, Philly’s own Tina Fey will be the guest!! She says she’s doing Sarah Palin too! Justin Bieber will be the musical performer.

- Coming up on the show: Chelsie Hightower from Dancing with the Stars. Her partner this season is Bachelor Jake. AND Steve Ward and his mom will be on the show promoting new season of vh1’s Tough Love. This time, for couples!

- Charlie Sheen is saying bye to Two and a Half Men because he wants more money. Apparently $1 million an episode is not enough and he wants $2 million but CBS won’t budge. Hmm, last time I checked, we were in a recession. Must be nice!!

- Janet Jackson is on the show today to talk about Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?” We’ve interviewed her a couple times before and she’s very sensitive to certain questions. Not only that, we received an e-mail of stuff we can’t talk about or ask her. Lets just say, it will probably be a SHORT interview. Her new movie is out today

- Well, there’s a little bit of good news for Sandra Bullock. The Blind Side DVD has reportedly sold over 3 million copies since it’s release March 23. It’s the top selling DVD out right now!

- The Apple iPad is coming out tomorrow and it’s getting a lot of hype. I personally think it’s a waste of money but Franklin (who works in our sales dept) has a great point. He would use it for his sales presentations. Instead of a laptop, the touch screen iPad would definitely look nicer and more professional for his meetings.

I know, Mondays stink! Lets make the most of it, despite the rain!

- From the box office over the weekend, How to Train Your Dragon pulled in 43.3 million, making it number 1. Alice in Wonderland came second with 17.2 million and the new comedy, Hot Tub Time Machine came third with 13.6 million.

- Did you miss the Kid’s Choice Awards Saturday night? Rihanna looked pretty smokin’ in her Minnie Mouse dress!

- As sad as all these cheating scandals are, it’s making a lot of money for tabloids. The new issue of In Touch magazine broke a record, selling 1.4 million copies. They usually average $800,000.

- Tonight, new episode of Dancing with the Stars on ABC, 8pm.

- Christina Aguilera is creating a huge buzz by teasing her fans with her comeback single, “Not Myself Tonight.” The singer has just unleashed a 15-second preview of the lead offering from her forthcoming studio album, Bionic – which drops on June 8th. You can hear the FULL song Tuesday at 6 PM on her site. I can’t wait to hear it…from the clip, it sounds like she’s still got it! What do you think?
